SSO (Sanitary System Overflow)

There was a SSO (Sanitary System Overflow) at Lift Station #4 at 4802 S County Road P on September 30, 2019 during the early morning hours due to the heavy rains at that time. It is no longer overflowing.


OCTOBER VILLAGE BOARD MEETING CHANGED

The regular Village Board Meeting will be changed from Tuesday, October 8 to Tuesday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall – 4932 S Village Road.


Douglas County 2019 NW Wisconsin Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The 2019 Douglas County Hazardous Waste Collection will be held on Wednesday, July 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at Transfer Station in Solon Springs, 11903 S Holly Lucius Road. Closed Employee Committe Meeting

There will be a closed Employee Committee Meeting on Thursday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall at 4932 S Village Road.


Poplar Fun Days and Annual Fire Department Golf Tournament Fundraiser

The Poplar Volunteer Fire Department and the Village Board of Trustees along with the Poplar Golf Course are in the process of planning for the combination of Poplar Fun Days and the Annual Fire Department Golf Tournament Fundraiser for 2019. Events are being planned to be held at the Poplar Golf Course on Saturday, August 3. More details to follow. Donations are welcome to help plan this event. SSO – Sanitary System Overflow

Notice: There was a SSO (Sanitary System Overflow) on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Lift Station # 4. It was a very minor overflow of less than 500 gallons.
